Initially created for a video game, Through the Forest We Grow is meant to meant to be reminiscent of the Lost Woods from the Legend of Zelda. Using plucked and woody tones, I used a live recording of a cello bass line (played by the lovely and talented Ridge Hall) alongside an electronic lead to evoke a sense of mystery and excitement.
