We are all a forest

We all share our roots

Yet all ask different things from the Sun

Some will safeguard the wind

Providing shelter to the young and vulnerable

They share the roots of safety and responsibility

Some will grow the glades

Their flowers bloom unparalleled decadence into existence

They share the roots of beauty and love

Some shall don the orchards

Feeding the masses and nourishing the earth

They share the roots of compassion and sacrifice

Some will tower to the heavens

They are the pioneers, the explorers, the storytellers

They share the roots of courage, of temptation

Where their roots collide

Our connections grow stronger

We all share the roots of nature’s harmony

But to share our roots

We must decipher where we are from

And decide where we wish to go

We are all one part of a forest

We share our roots to help each other grow

We are all unique but share a common goal
